Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet

Corrugated Polycarbonate sheets are produced with different thicknesses and wall designs, from "3.5 mm 2-wall" structure to "32 mm 9-wall" structure. Calculations are made by considering the wind/snow load carrying capacities, which vary depending on the region to be applied.

With corrugated polycarbonate sheets, which have much superior features compared to greenhouse coverings/protection covers that do not perform sufficiently in different/difficult climate conditions, you can achieve high light transmittance in your greenhouses and save energy by controlling heating/cooling. With double-sided UV Protection and IR protection layer, high resistance to wind/snow load despite being lightweight, etc., you can install your greenhouse once with corrugated polycarbonate sheets with a 10-year warranty and CE certificate, and gain for many years.

INFRA-RED PROTECTION
The heat is caused by the rays coming from the sun. These rays pass through the glass or plastic cover material and enter the greenhouse, and when they reach the soil and plants, they are converted into heat energy. Thus, the soil and plants are heated. This warming causes diseases in plants, drying of the soil, disruption of the moisture balance in the greenhouse and damage to the plants in the greenhouse due to excessive heat. Corrugated polycarbonate sheets eliminate the negative conditions that these rays will create in greenhouse agriculture with their IR protection feature and increase efficiency.

HIGH LIGHT TRANSMISSION
Corrugated polycarbonate sheets have high light transmittance. Thanks to this feature, more development is achieved in plants compared to other greenhouse covering materials and greenhouse efficiency increases.

ANTİ-FOG
The steam condensing on greenhouse roofs due to the humidity of the environment forms water droplets on the surface of the greenhouse cover. These droplets cause the sunlight needed by the plant to be refracted and reflected back. Corrugated Polycarbonate sheets prevent the formation of droplets of condensed water vapor with their permanent anti-fog feature and allow the droplets to spread in the form of a film layer on the greenhouse cover. The drops formed by the water vapor condensing on the greenhouse cover without anti-fog feature cause the sunlight to create a lens effect on the plant and the drops to fall, causing various diseases and burns in the plant. In addition, the sunlight intensity required for the plant to be grown decreases. This causes loss of yield. One of the most important features of corrugated polycarbonate sheets is that their anti-fog feature is permanent. It maintains its anti-fog feature for many years.

RESISTANCE
Corrugated polycarbonate sheets have high impact resistance even at temperatures such as -30, +120 °C. Polycarbonate materials have 200 times more impact resistance than glass. Especially 8 mm and above corrugated polycarbonate sheets are resistant to hail. Corrugated polycarbonate sheets do not deform under wind like other greenhouse covers and maintain their structural rigidity. They maintain their integrity. Partial damages are not reflected on the entire sheet.

LONG LASTING
Standard transparent corrugated polycarbonate sheets are offered with a 10-year warranty. If desired, the warranty period can be extended to 15 years. During the warranty period, the amount of yellowing on the sheets is very low and the change in light transmittance is very limited. Considering the importance of PAR light intensity in greenhouses for plant development and photosynthesis, the importance of corrugated polycarbonate sheets maintaining high light transmittance for many years comes to the forefront.
